I started my wrestling coaching at Robbinsdale Cooper High School where I coached for 26 years. From there, I coached at St. Michael Middle School and High School for 2 years. I have served as a Roseville wrestling coach now for the last 4 years.
I have been involved in wrestling for 30 plus years. Started wrestling at age 5. Born and raised in K ansas City, KS. Helped coach an individual State Champion in 2016. Moved to Minnesota in 2021. You have to be both physically and emotionally strong. At the end of the day you are responsible for how you respond to any type of adversity in wrestling and life. It is awesome to see these attributes student athletes gain from wrestling translate to their personal and professional lives outside of wrestling.
This is my third year coaching in the Roseville Wrestling program. As an alumni of RAHS I have been around the program for many years and have loved to see it grow into what it is today. My favorite part of coaching with Roseville is watching what the sport of wrestling can do for kids, similar to what it has done for me in the same room in years previous.
