No, girls do not wear the same singlets as boys. Girls have singlets that are cut higher around the chest and underarms. They may also have the option of wearing fighter shorts and shirt. Some girls choose to wear a compression top under their singlet.
Your child will be provided a singlet to use for the season. You will need to purchase headgear, wrestling shoes and a mouth guard is recommended if your child has braces. If you have trouble obtaining these items, please let the coaching staff know.
You must fill out an application for educational benefits. If you qualify, your registration fees will be reduced or free. Apply for benefits at https://linqconnect.com/main.

No. In cases of a dual, tri or quad meet, girls will wrestle other girls in their weight class if a team has girls to participate in a match. Some girls choose to wrestle boys.
We also register as a team and participate in all girls tournaments that allows for more wrestling opportunities. With the growth in girls wrestling, there are always plenty of girls to wrestle in these tournaments.
